Another sweet Victorian, early 1900's doll dress and hat. A 2 piece ensemble, consisting of a bodice and skirt. Made of a sheer floral cotton fabric, the ruffles of the skirt are edged in narrow black velvet ribbon.
No waist band but just gathered at the top. The bodice is made of the same fabric with puffy lace sleeves and neck line. Pink silk ribbon bow adds a nice accent. The pancake style hat is made of small fabric flowers and pink chiffon. Home sewn, it is both hand and machine sewing.
For a small doll, the skirt is 3-1/8" long from the waist to hem. 3" around the waist. Blouse is 1-7/8" long from the neck line to raw edge of the bottom of blouse.. 1-1/2" across from shoulder to shoulder. Sleeve length is 1-5/8" long. Sleeve opening is tiny, about 1/4" in diameter. The little hat is 3/4" diameter. No height, as it is a pancake.
A tiny size, in my opinion, nicely made. Good condition.
