A pretty round centerpiece table doily from the late Victorian or Edwardian time period.  A tinted doily with a bevy of carnation flowers dancing round the border.  The colors of the embroidery are cream and a faded pink, which now looks more cream than pink.

The background of the leaves are tinted in green outlined in cream.  Pointed scallop trim finishes the edging.  Fabric of the doily is a heavy cotton.

Size of the doily is 22" diameter.

Condition: Freshly laundered.  The only flaw I see is a slight smudge of dark in the center of the cloth, which has lightened, but did not completely launder out.  Even though faint, it still slightly shows.  This doily has been lovingly used, and over the years, repeated washings has somewhat faded the colors.
