A pretty Victorian black Chantilly type lace trim piece. Possibly removed from a neck line of an old dress, as the piece is finished on all edges.  Perhaps as a ruffle. On the bottom edge a tiny picot edging.  Rather an unusual motif of a leaf and branch design.

It measures 43" long x 5"wide. 

Condition:  Used.  Does have one area of damage.  About 1" in length.
