How frilly is this little treasure! Possibly a little boy's. Just like some you see in old photos! This little creation is of a nice quality soft cotton with LARGE eyelet collar extending over the shoulders. White embroidered eyelet ruffle around the edge of collar with a double ruffle extending down the hidden front opening.
Again, the same eyelet forms a ruffle around the edge of the sleeves. Fitted waistband with button holes spaced apart to fasten the blouse to a skirt or short pants. It is in very nice condition and unless I missed something I found no damage. Has been laundered ... ready to wear or display.
The length of the blouse is 17-1/2" long. 11" across the shoulders. 26" around the chest. 20" around the waistband. 18" sleeve length. A real beauty!
Dates from the early 1900 - Edwardian era. This pretty blouse is suitable for children re-enactment, theater, renaissance or photography.
