A 100% cotton bed sheet from the late Victorian or Edwardian era. The lovely sheet is embellished with three inset triangles hand made of drawn thread /pulled thread and Tenerife needlework. These three are spaced across the width of the of the sheet at the top. One on either corner and the third at the center.
Two of the triangles, at the corners, measure 17" long across the top, with the sides 11-1/2" to the point. The middle inset is 15" across the top, with each side 11" to the point.
The sheet includes a sheet return, which is 37" long, on either of the long sides. The return could either fold over the pillows or lay flat.
To further accent this beautiful sheet, it is trimmed with hand crochet lace in a scallop design. Width of the crochet is 3" wide.
Over all measurement of the bed sheet is 82" wide, not including the crochet trim x 108" long, not including the crochet trim.
Size would fit a double or standard bed.
Condition is quite nice, although not recently laundered, it should to freshen. Good sturdy cotton fabric.
