Here's a interesting dress, or millinery, embellishment trim from the 1920's. Made of silk and velvet plush fabric, the flower shape is trimeed in braid and gold metallic trim. The fabrication of the flowers are button style, padded and covered in the silk fabrics.
The leaves are made of the velvet plush, edged in a braid and gold metallic wire thread. Backing of the flowers are a green and gray buckram like fabric.
The length of the embellishment is 7" long x 4-1/2" wide.
Condition is nice. Appears never to have been used. I noticed a tiny curl of one tip of a leaf separating slightly from the green backing. A couple of stitches would secure.
A lovely piece of the past to inspire you to the future.
