A handmade, hand crocheted wool shawl or wrap from the 1920's. The cream color shawl is made of several different motifs making it a very attractive wrap.  Hand tied fringe at either end. It would certainly be a one-of-a-kind for a fashion statement. Or think outside the box for other uses.....maybe as a throw.

Even though it is rather an openwork pattern it is more of a heavier weight shawl.  Perfect for a bit cooler weather to wear or to layer as a scarf over a coat for colder weather.   

The width of the shawl is 15" wide and is 76" long, not including the 3-1/2" fringe on either end.

Has not been cleaned but good condition.  I found two very small breaks in thread from damage.  One has to look more close to find.
