For your vanity, a pretty 1920's vintage flapper era dresser tray.  The oval flat tray is made of wood or composition material, covered in a twill type fabric.  The twill fabric is a subdued color or darker tan.  The material is then covered in lace, gold metallic lace. braid and rosettes. 

Each layered to give a gorgeous visual affect.  First layer is a soft pink fabric with a gold metallic lace laid over the pink. Narrow off white lace is pleated in exacting pleats edging the border.  Separating the metallic lace from the pleated lace, is a narrow row of silk rosettes in varies shades of blue, pink, green, lavendar and yellow. 

A glass cut to fit the tray finishes the tray bottom.  The inside and outside side of tray is wrapped in gold metallic braid.

The oval tray measures 9-1/2" long x 5-1/8" wide.  Height is 3/4" tall.

Condition is good but some missing threads of the braid, at places, wrapping over the top edge of the side.  It is not obvious. Also perhaps a little cloudiness of the glass at one end.  Again, slight.
