Finely made and very precious, a vintage hand tatted baby bonnet from the vintage years of the 1930's, or perhaps a bit earlier.  Ecru in color, the bonnet is made in a number of different tatting patterns. 

I especially like the tiny flowerette motif that the ribbon is threaded through.  Ribbon is a rayon acetate in a light shade of pink.  

Size measurement:  12" around the neck line from side to side.  17" along the face line from side to side.  Size would be for a 1 year old baby / child. Lovely for a larger baby doll, too.

Condition is unused.  Beautiful!
