A very interesting vintage 1930's to 1950's paper wrapped cardboard Christmas box, which held candles made by the Standard Oil Company, Indiana. The lid of the box features poinsettias and holly berry with the wording of "Improved Dripless Christmas Candles" printed to one side on the top.
Printed on one end is "Standard Oil Company". The box, at one time, contained 24 candles (no contents now). The 5" long x 3-3/8" wide x 1-1/4" high box is in nice condition.
Some slight soiling but no breaks or loss of paper. Bottom of the box is plain white cardboard. There is a crease running along the length of the bottom of box. I would consider minor.
