A vintage pair of Lane Bryant summer sporty shoe in a red leather. Dating the shoes probably late 1940's or early 1950's. Unworn, the shoes are slingback with buckle slide to fasten around the ankle. Closed toe with slit cuts in the leather to accent this area.
Heel and sole of the shoe are a type of plastic or composition, I can read partial man made on the inside strap but can't read the rest.
Numbers are also stamped inside of the strap but don't know if this includes a size.
So here are the measurements: 11" from the toe to heel. 3-1/2" across the instep. I wear a 7 and they are big for me, so I would say today, maybe an 8-1/2 to 9.
Condition: As mentioned unworn. However, the insole has curled up near the instep and around the heel, at the edge. See photos.
