A lovely pair of vintage 1930's - 1940's silk satin tap panties.  A color shade of ivory which suggest the pair may have belonged to a bridal trousseau. A beautiful pair for a vintage wardrobe.

Four pearl buttons fastens the side opening. Alencon lace edges the irregular shape of the panties leg openings, both front and back.  The fabric has been cut away and all the lace hand applied.   Lace rose appliques overlay the satin fabric near the side seams for a dramatic look.  Again it is hand applied.   Inside size tag of 17 but no other information.

Condition:  Although possibly have been worn once or twice, the condition is very nice.  No obvious stains.

Measurements:  27" around the waist.  35" hip.  18" length center back to middle of crotch.
