A vintage 1950's linen handkerchief with the letter A monogram. The initial is painted with liquid fabric paint. The greeting card features seasonal bells and pine boughs on a red background. It was printed by Treasure Masters, Minneapolis, USA. Given as a gift , it was found still in the Christmas greeting card holder. The linen hankie is unused, never laundered, with the monogram in just one corner. Two rows of hem stitching along the edge is the only other embellishment.
Size of the hankie is 11" square.
The size of the card holder is 5" x 7". Condition is good but not perfect as it does have some creases at the top of the card. No tears.
A fun gift to give someone who's name begins with A. Long ago, it was given to a woman by the name of Arlene. Perhaps another Arlene would like to own it.
