A sweet Edwardian white cotton batiste doll dress. A fashionable dress in an over skirt style. The longer under skirt is made of whitework fabric with the embroidered trim accenting the hem line. The over skirt is plain white fabric. The bodice features a "V" neck line with collar, finished in the same fabric as the under skirt. Long full sleeves with a tiny buttoned cuff. The same tiny pearl buttons fasten the back of the dress to just below the waist. All button holes are hand made.
The mop cap bonnet is also made of whitework embroidered fabric, only in a different pattern than the dress. It is basted to form a brim with a little more gathering at the back than front.
Both dress and hat are in very nice condition. Both have been laundered and pressed. A couple of teenie tiny holes that I found.
Measurements: Dress measure 15" long at the center back, from the neck line to hem. Waist is 10" around. Chest: 8-1/2" around. Sleeve length is 7" long. 2-1/2" around the cuff when buttoned.
