Dating from the early 1900's a lady's blue dot calico fabric day work dress. A piece of white Swiss eyelet embroidery gives the dress a pretty accent at the neck line. An addition of tucks across the shoulders also gives a nice embellishment. The garment is made with long cuffed sleeves. Buttons down the back to the waist with white pearl buttons. Skirt has a patch pocket on one side. Handy for a hankie. It is treadle machine home sewn.
Measurements of the dress is 60"long in the front. A slight train measuring 62" long at the center back. 17" across from shoulder to shoulder. 34" around the bust. 25" around the waist.
Condition: Decent but does have some flaws. A mended corner tear on the side of skirt. A small hole further up the skirt on the same side. Repair on the waistband. The waist band is missing one pearl button. A dress that has been worn but as noted: quite decent.
