From the mid 19th century to later Victorian era, a group of 16 china inkwell buttons. These time worn early buttons would be perfect for restoring old clothing or adding an authentic touch to a newly made sewing or craft project.

Diameter is 3/8".  All have four holes. All matching with a color of a faded red/orange. Some more than others. 

As mentioned the outside edge color is worn and one does have a chip at the edge.
