Here's a youngster's vintage 1930's toddler dress that is so cute. Made of white cotton voile, the dress is home sewn. A pointed yoke filled with filet crochet just spells sweetness. The crochet yoke features a flower pattern, both on the front and back. The very edge of the yoke is trimmed in a crochet edging to lace a pretty colored ribbon. A ribbon, if used, would tie the back opening closed. Otherwise the back opening would pin closed. Narrow crochet trims the edge of the sleeves. The dress is sewn in a simple style with raglan sleeves, side seams and back opening.
Freshly laundered and pressed. It is in very nice condition. A couple tiny pin dot holes, which is normal for the age, is all I found.
Size measurement: 17-1/2" long from the neck line to hem. 10" across from shoulder to shoulder. 25" around the chest. Sleeve length is 5-1/4" long.
