DOLL IS ON HOLD
A very sweet little 4-1/2" bisque doll with jointed body and head, dating early 1900's. The doll has glass eyes that are unmoveable. A blonde mohair wig that is slightly disarray, although decent. A small bow in her hair. A beautiful painted face with nice features. Although I would say she is German she is not marked, only to a #205 with 2 underneath. She is wearing a simple home made dress made of whitework embroidery. Gathered at the neck line and tied with a ribbon sash. No underclothes. Her shoes are brown painted high heels, Mary Jane style. She wears white painted stockings with blue trim.
Because her dress is practically sewn on her, I can't examine her body throughly, although, I found no chips or cracks with most all that I see. Her head, arms and legs also appear in nice condition.
I am not really a doll person, but do like these little ones. Please ask if you have further questions.
This darling little thing would be so happy to go to a good home.
