What little girl wouldn't have wanted to pretend play with these lithograph Mother Goose toy plates. From the Ohio Art Company of Bryan, Ohio. The group of six plates date from the 1920's or 1930's.
The scene, at the center of the plate features Mother Goose walking with her goose. A colorful tin plate with red rim trim at the edge. Backside of each plate is in green paint.
Size is is 4-1/4" in diameter.
Condition: Considering the plates were a children's toy and played with, they are in remarkabley good condition. Definitely some scratches, dings and dents with surface loss of the green paint on some of the backsides of plates. Still, more minor than some I have seen.
