A nicely hand made 19th century or early 1900's flat wooden netting shuttle tool for weaving darning knitting or making netting. A nice Americana country primitive for a collection. It is hand carved with a nice smooth patina to the wood. 

The wood appears to be pine, although, I am not an expert in identifying woods. 

The shuttle measures 8-3/8" long x 1" wide.  Condition is good.
