A early toleware child's tin handled drinking cup with lid, in bittersweet red paint. Dates from the later 19th Century Victorian, the cup is stenciled in gold "MY BOY". A nice collectible Americana primitive piece, suitable for your country or farmhouse home decor.
The lid is in the natural tin patina state. Lid is ribbed with a small metal loop for lifting.
Condition: Original surface with loss of the painted surface. (As noted from the photos). Inside and bottom of the cup, plus lid, are in the original tin. Lid fits well. Some no harm surface rust to the inside. No dents to the cup. One small dent to the lid surface next to the loop handle.
This miniature cup is 1-3/4" tall x 2-1/2" diameter.
