Dating from the Edwardian era, perhaps earlier 1900's, a pair of silk stockings in a creamy yellow tan color. Bottom of foot area is cotton. A number 8 is woven into the silk at the top edge on one. Arrow design woven into the sides on both stocking, although point of arrow faint.
The stockings show much repair and darns. Probably the lady's "best" stockings so she patiently kept them mended. Don't you wonder the stories they might tell?
Measurement: Toe to heel is 9" long. 25-1/2" from the toe to the top.
