A wonderful early pair of hand made wool stockings from the 1860's to later 1800's.  Perfect to add to the decor of a primitive country farmhouse.  Made of a white, rather smooth texture, the pair would fit about mid calf.  Hand seamed down the back and ribbed design at the top of stocking.

At the top of each stocking, a inked laundry mark.  Lucy D. ...but not sure of the last name.  Some oxidation from storage and one small repair near the top, on the front of one stocking,

Size is 19-1/2" long from the top to toe.  Toe to heel is 8-1/2" long.
