A remarkable Victorian 1860's bustle back doll skirt in a tan with a darker weave. I believe the fabric to be a linen/wool or challis. It is completely handstitched. A narrow lavendar color ribbon accents the hem line of the skirt. No fastenings to close the waistband.
Length center front of the skirt from waist to hem is 7-1/8" long. Length center back of the skirt from waist to hem is 10". Waist band is 4-1/2" around. Would fit a china or paper mache doll.
Condition: as it is a blend of wool/linen there is damage to the fabric. Nothing major but small shreds.
