Oh, Those Stylized Fabrics Of The 1960's! What Fun!

Now tell me, how cute is this! I'm dating this wonderful bolt of cotton fabric to about the 1960's, however, it actually may be somewhat earlier.

As you can see, it is a stylized print of a lion or cat printed in red outline ~ white face with red features on black fabric. Two sizes of the lions are on the fabric in an all over pattern. Animals face both ways on the length of the fabric. It is a cotton with ever so slight a sheen.

This vintage animal fabric measures 18 yards long x 36" wide. It is in unused condition and until I unwrapped to measure it has never been unwrapped. (still on the bolt) In measuring, I was also able to look at the entire piece and can tell you in is in wonderful condition.

No markings as to who the manufacturer is or what mill it came from. In any event, what a fun fabric for a sewing or quilting project!
