Dating from the 1890's Victorian era, a collar and cuff set in Brussels lace. The high collar and cuffs are made in a design of scrolling flowers on what to appears to be a handmade bobbin lace tulle background.
The pointed cuffs are edge with a very tiny picot needlework, both at the top and bottom of the collar.
This lovely set is just as found, meaning it has been not be laundered.
There are stays sewn to the high collar and one of the stays needs a few threads to be reattached. I did not notice any other flaws.
Length of the collar is 13" at the top, one side to the other. Bottom edge is 15" in length. Width of collar is 2-3/4" wide. Length of cuff, point to point is 10". Width is 2-1/2" wide.
