There is nothing like the "hunt" of antiques in the shape of animals so here is a neat find of a vintage 1920's cast iron boot scraper of a wire hair terrier dog.

Dating from the 1920's, the boot scraper is in the original black paint.  Solid heavy weight it is a great door stop, too.  No markings as to manufacture.  

This great canine stands 8" tall.  Tail to nose the length is 7-1/2" long.  Size of base is 5-3/4" long x 1-7/8" x 3/4" thick. Thickness of the dog, itself, is 1/4".

Condition is very nice.
