The Gatherings is offering a lot of six vintage 1940's 1950's cotton panels in a traditional home design. Suitable for curtains, drapes, pillows or upholstery. This fabric is a classic print with vertical lines of foliage and birds. Colors are soft and muted in dusty blues and dusty rose pinks. Background of the fabric is a tan color. Each of the five panels are 63" long x 50-1/2" wide. The 6th one, which is finished at the top (see last photo) is 61" x 50" with the hems. All panels have been seamed once to make the 50-1/2" dimension. Just for information, more than likely this was 36" wide material when purchased from the store. I also want to mention how nicely the seams are made. Each seam is expertly sewn matching each of the motifs. If you study the photos, I think you will see what I saying. Now, as to give you some perspective of the scale of the motifs. Looking at the vertical line of the birds and flowers, each of these motifs are about 6" across x 9" long. The repeat is about 1-1/2" apart.
This was a curtain or drapery project started long ago, put aside, and never finished. So use your imagination of how you would like to use!
Condition: Fabric is nice. Still there is some oxidation from storage. Not a lot but some.
