A gorgeous Edwardian, late teens to 1920's, shawl in dazzling soft color shades of pale blue, pale pink, and tan-cream stripes. A rayon, or a blend of rayon silk, fabric in a stripe pattern. For a gala evening affair this would make a statement.
The shawl, stole or wrap is 118" in length x 26" wide. This length does not include the 8" long fringe on either end, making this an impressive length altogether. The coloration of the fringe is extraordinary of pastel shades of a cream-tan, blue-green, All hand tied and knotted.
Condition: Very nice but does have a few flaws, such has a small amount of spotting from storage. Also some soiling at the fold line (it has been folded lengthwise) from storage all these years. Also a few pulls of the fabric and pin point holes. Nothing more than normal and all very minor.
