A beautiful handmade renaissance collar from the later Victorian, Edwardian time period.
Four areas of the collar are accented with appliqued tape lace on tulle to form small flowers. Each of the tulle areas are connected with a variety of filling stitches.
Measurements: Laid flat, at the top, it is 13-1/2" across from one side to the other. Depth at the widest points is 5". Length at the bottom is 26" from one side to the other.
Condition is very nice.
Suitable for, bridal costuming or historical preservation.
