A pretty vintage handkerchief in white linen fabric.  The hankie is embellished in each corner with and oval of drawn thread work, encrusted with embroidery.  Fabric of the edge is cut away in a scallop design then embellished with a circular motif of tatted lace edging.   The overall design of the handkerchief is quite pleasing.

Size is 10-1/4" square.

Condition:  Very clean.  The only flaw is one broken thread (see 3rd photo) in one of the circular tatted motifs.  It seems to me with a needle and thread, a repair to this area could easily be made.
