A beautiful elegant bonnet for a Gatsby look.  From the extravagant period of the 1920's, a pinky peach boudoir lingerie bed cap bonnet.  The ever so popular bonnets were lavish with laces, silks and ribbons.  This one starts with rows of lace, ribbon and silk fabric. 

Embellished on one side a blue bow accented with a small ribbon rosette. Elastic is sewn to the edge of the ruffle to adjust the fit on one's head.  A lovely bonnet which has never been worn.  Tucked away in a drawer.

Bonnet measures 24" around the circumference at the hem line of the ruffle.  It is 9" from the edge of the ruffle to the center of crown.  

Condition:  Although never worn, it does have several tiny pin dot holes, the size of a point of a pin.  As with most elastic from the time period, it has lost its stretch.
