Dating from the early 1900's a home treadle sewn sunbonnet in a red calico fabric print. A worn and faded cotton sunbonnet it would fit your primitive farmhouse home decor perfectly.
The bonnet is made with a long apron to protect the neck for the sun. The brim of the bonnet is sewn with seven rows of stitches to stiffen the brim to shield the eyes.
Length of the bonnet from the top of the head to the hem at the back it is 18" in length.
Even though the bonnet is faded from repeated washings, it actually is in good condition.
