Now, here is a treasure from the later Victorian era of a simplistic embroidery in a naive style.  Simple embroidery of cats, butterflies and a woman are featured at the corners and center.  Cats and one butterfly are in a red thread.  Woman is pink and one butterfly in a yellow. 

So one-of-a-kind. This folk art pillow cushion cover will surely bring a smile.  The cushion cover is made of a brown wool, with the backing in a stripe flannel.  

Size is 15-1/2" x 17".  Would take a cushion about 2-3/4" thick.

Charming for a primitive farmhouse decor.
