A beautiful tambour needlelace embroidery tulle net dresser runner. Vintage from the 1920's, this gorgeous piece may have been part of a bedroom set, which may have included the bedspread. The 1920's was the heyday for this type of net bedding.
The tulle is embellishment with a lovely design of trailing flowers, scrolls and an openwork center. Picot needlework finishes the scallop edge.
This piece has never been laundered retaining its ecru or oatmeal color. May have never been used although I did find three small holes in the tulle.
Size is 45" long x 16-1/2" wide. To give you an idea of the scale, the center motif is 7" wide x 9-1/2" long.
