Here's a classroom book that would have been a fun read for children from the turn of the 1900's century.
Dated 1904, The Art Literature Reader Book One, by Eulalie Osgood Grover, is a delightful reading book with many pictures of children in play, pets and activites.
Written inside cover, the name BRADFIELD FAMILY. Evidently there were more than one family member which shared this school book.
The book consist of 111 pages with some adorable children, animals, events and activities. Book is 6-1/4" x 7-1/4".
Publisher is Atkinson, Mentzer & Company
Condiditon of the book is very decent, including the brown cover boards and the spline. However, there are 10 pages which do have some page tears. (see photo to give you an idea of the tears). Still for a number of children, that more than likely handle the book, I feel acceptable.
