1890 to early 1900's toddler boy's jacket and skirt outfit in a brown and tan cotton plisse or crinkle cloth fabric. The jacket buttons down the front with 9 plain buttons in a vegetable ivory. The only trimming on the jacket is a braid of gold metallic trim at the edge of the sleeves and around the outside edge of the collar.
A casing with elastic. That no longer has any stretch at the hem of the jacket which at one time gave the jacket a fuller blousey look. Of course, this elastic could be replaced.
Measurements: The jacket measures 14" long from the neckline to the hem. 9" across from shoulder to shoulder. 25" around the chest. 26" around the waist.
Skirt: 11-1/2" long from waist to hem. 18-1/2" around the waist.
Condition: I found it to be very nice. Of course, I am sure it has not been cleaned, if ever, so you may find a bit of soiling although I found none.
