For those cold northern winters, dolly would like a winter bonnet. Why not this cute style? Bonnet dates from the late Victorian era. Very cute for a primitive doll or to hang with other small bonnets.
Made of a cream wool yarn, the bonnet is hand crocheted with an apron around the bottom for extra warmth at the neck line. It is lined with a purple crochet lining. At one time, probably, had chin ties.
Size: 6" along the face area, from side to side. This doesn't include the apron, which is 1-1/4" wide to the scallop. Measurement along the neck line is 6" from side to side. Would fit a head about the side of a plum.
Condition: A couple small breaks of yarn but very decent condition.
