The Gatherings is offering an older child's petticoat. which is not as easily found as baby and young children's underclothing. Suitable for costuming, photography or reenactment purposes, this sweet white cotton petticoat would fit a child about 10-11 years old. 

Dating from the late Victorian or Edwardian era, the petticoat features a 3-1/4" wide Swiss eyelet ruffle at the hem.  Just above the ruffle a row of beading eyelet to draw through a ribbon to accent.  Back closure just pins closed - no fastening.  

Length of the petticoat is 24" long.  Waist band measures 24" around.  Condition is nice with only a couple of minor oxidation marks from storage.  You may find one or two pin dot holes, although I did not notice any.
