Dating from the late Victorian or Edwardian era, a metal sewing pincushion made in the shape of a satchel or suitcase. The velvet pincushion is situated in the top opening of the satchel. Notice the nice detailing to the metal making it look like a satchel, complete with lock. Even the wrinkles on the one side to resemble soft leather.
Size is 2-1/4" wide at the bottom by 2" tall x 1" deep. No markings as to manufacturer.
Condition: Conditions to the metal is good with no breaks. Its a possibility the green velvet covering to the cushion has been replaced.
