The vintage boudoir was a collection of pretty things, including fancy toss or throw pillows, in keeping with the extravagant time of the 1920's. Although, this box shape pillow may date slightly into the 1930's, it is tastefully made of rayon faille fabric, with rows of lace situated on two of the corners.
It is further accented with a border of ribbon rosettes to separate the lace from the rayon covering. An interesting border treatment trims the top outside edge.
Probably from a ready-made manufacture, it has no labels. Filling is more than likely a kapok.
Size is 11" square x 1-1/2" deep.
Condition is very nice
