Just found, and is this hat a beauty! Dating from the early 1920's or late teens, the hat is decorated in bold colors of pheasant feathers. Not only are the feathers colorful, but the shape of the hat is also bold, with an upward sweep of the feathers extending across the top of the crown.
Colors of the feathers are brown and tan exploding into an array of iridescent blues and greens. So very impressive. Hat has an ever so tiny brim, also covered in feathers extending to the underside. Lined in black silk fabric. No markings or labels.
Size measurements. 22" circumference around the inside, Depth of crown 4-1/2" deep.
Condition: One small hole, at the edge of brim, in the lining. Possibly some spotting to the feathers. You may find a tweak of a feather or two, but this hat is absolutely amazing, it would be insignificant.
