Now here's an adorably sweet Valentine greeting card from the vintage years of the 1920's. Now what could speak more for the era, than a flapper lady? This paper lady is dressed in a stylish golfing outfit . Even her knee high stockings are printed with red hearts. Her head is a silk button with her facial features defining her pouty look Even her bobbed hair is tied with a red silk ribbon bow. Under one arm, a slide out "Valentine" message. Her other hand supports her set of golf clubs. She is attached to a white paper doily, which is attached to the red card. Printed message on inside of card. It is signed "To Ruth". No manufacture or printing company marking.
Size of card is 3-1/2" x 6".
Condition: Some creasing and some paper loss to the edge of the doily. A bend in the word "Valentine" which she holds under her arm. Basically for a fragile item, it is actually very nice.
I just LOVE it!
