Styled by Alberta Lingerie, this vintage 1940's or early 1950's light pink nightgown is bias cut. The glamour gown in rayon fabric, features a deep "V" cut to the back, wide shoulder straps and "v" cut to the front. Empire waist. Gathered bust line with insets of lace to emphasis the bust.
Shoulder straps are, also, treated with lace. The hem line of this swing gown is edged in a narrow ruffle trimmed in lace.
Although no size tags, it seems generous, measuring 61-1/2" long. 36" bust, 32" waist. Suppose the size might be about a 14-16?. An Alberta Lingerie label on the inside.
Condition appears to have not been worn, or at least very little. No tears that I found. One very light oxidation spot on the lower front of the gown. Not quite the size of a penny.
A lovely gown that would be so wearable today.
