From a time past, someone's lovely needle handiwork can be your treasure. The Gatherings is offering this beautifully embroidered cross stitched tablecloth from the vintage years of the 1950's.
This colorful linen tablecloth, embroidered with flowers in red, pink, blue, purple and autumn gold plus many green leaves, sets the mood for a beautiful dining table experience.
This same mixture of flower colors form a wider border closer to the center of the cloth. The two roses on either end of this border are the boldest, measuring 9-1/2" tall.
Now, this cloth does make a stunning decorating statement!
To finish it off, a pretty crochet lace edging in a scallop design. It measures 1" wide and is a tad more creamy white in color than the linen fabric, itself. Just a tad.
The flowers of the outer border of the cloth range from about 3" tall to 5-1/2" tall. Overall size of the tablecloth is 58" x 75".
Has it been used? I would say not, but if so, barely, as there doesn't appear any evidence.
