A very sweet white batiste cotton tea hostess apron from the 1920's, or later teens, WW1 time period. The apron is hand made and hand stitched. It even has a single pocket which would be super cute for displaying a pretty handkerchief peeking out the top. Lace trim edges the the apron as well as accents the pocket edge.
The length is 23" long x 20" across the front of waist. This measurement does not include the ties, which one is 23" in length and the other is 21" in length. An interesting tidbit, as such was the case sometimes, not enough fabric to complete a project, so the seamstress would "make do", so to speak.
Condition is good with just a couple tiny holes in the fabric. Nothing more than usual for the age.
Need a server apron for a special occasion? Why not honor someone from the past.
