If your love is old store display merchandise or salesman's samples, here is a wonderful miniature corset foundation made by the Famise Corporation, Philla, Pa. Dating about 1940's, perhaps a little earlier. The fabric is a rayon cotton in a peachy pink, with plain satin stitched cups.
Panels are a brocade pattern sewn to a stretch elastic fabric. One side is fastened with hook and eye the whole length of the garment. Inside shows the lacing for adjusting the fit. (see photo) Rubber and metal garters for securing the stockings. No shoulder straps but there are the clips for fastening the straps.
Company labels sewn into the seams inside.
Condition is very nice. Clean.
Measurements: 12-1/2" long, not including the garters. 8-1/2" wide across the top edge (17" completely around.)
