For the love of primitive style, a country look of a late 1880's to 1890's child's dress in a brown check homespun fabric.  Home sewn the dress, fastens down the front with 9 pearl buttons.  A little ruffle in a different check edges the neck line, the edge of sleeves and the hem line.  Very cute with an extra attention to detail. 

Size of the dress is as follows:  20" long from the neck line to hem.  9" across from shoulder to shoulder.  Sleeve length is 9" long.  Cuff opening is 6" around.  24-1/2" around the chest.  25" around the waist.  Would be suitable for a larger doll, especially a cloth doll.

Condition:  For the age, very nice.  A bit of oxidation from storage.  Fading of the fabric from repeated washings.  No holes that I found.
