If you like to do needle crafts, especially crochet, this vintage Corticelli Lessons In Crochet, Book No. 2 may give you inspiration. 64 pages of collars and yokes, sweaters, doilies and table linens and other niceties. Filet work and monogram letters. All complete with directions with photo. Even a few pages knitting included, too.
Published by The Corticelli Silk Mills, Florence, Mass. Copyright 1916.
This is a nice addition to a needlework library. Condition of the book is good but not perfect just from normal usage. One staple is missing holding the cover intact...in other words just partially loose. No loose pages inside of the book.
Found with the Corticelli book is a pamphlet of instructions for crocheting baby slipper, soakers, toy animal, bibs, sweater sets. For the kitchen crochet hot pad and trivets. No date but appears to be from the 1930's. Good condition.
