A present from Ireland  ~  a pretty silk embroidery souvenir handkerchief from about 1920's.  The hanky is made of a creamy silk with mostly red  silk embroidery done in one corner.  The hem is hemstitched in a wide border to further accent this lovely treasure. 

Condition although unused, still folded exactly as it was, it does have a few pulls of thread to the silk.  All very minor but they are there. 

Also a slight stain as shown in photo.  The stain looks darker in the photo than actually is.  In fact, I missed seeing it the first time around.
